99% of spectators were happy with their 2015 FORMULA 1 RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX experience: the results of the RBC research

According to a survey RBC.research initiated on behalf of the 2015 FORMULA 1 RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX promoter, 99.4% of the audience who attended the second ever Russian Grand Prix were happy with their experience of the event.

The study was conducted by the organisers for the second year running. The results of the analysis of audience satisfaction with the Russian Grand Prix show some positive dynamics - some indicators remained at the same high level from 2014 and a series of added value offerings have improved the scores compared to last year.

The organisers earned good reviews in many ways. Overall satisfaction ratings from visiting race fans averaged six points out of seven. Spectators noted the high level of services delivered by the staff of the track and volunteers, as well as the action-packed races and true convenience of the grandstands. High ratings were also awarded the organisation of the transport infrastructure during the event, enhanced by additional buses and commuter trains, and a rich entertainment program.​

The main reason for visiting the 2015 FORMULA 1 RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX was listed as 'personal interest' in Formula 1, and many said that they decided to visit the event on the basis of their experience of the competition last year. Almost 20% of the audience said they came to the track to watch the performance of Daniel Kvyat. About 10% noted the low ticket prices as reasons for visiting. 

It is interesting that many of the older audience visiting were returning for the second time, while most young people who came to the event, did so on the recommendation of friends.

Most of the spectators who came to the 2015 FORMULA 1 RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX constantly follow the news from the world of motorsport: 48% of respondents do not miss a single race, and another 24% watch the competition from time to time. At the same time 15% of respondents noted that they were not interested in Formula 1 in general and came the to race on the recommendation of friends.

According to the study, about 60% of fans who traveled to the race, plan to visit the Russian Grand Prix in 2016, and 23% have not yet decided whether they will return to Sochi Autodrom for the next race.

Also, an analysis of the ticket prices will be reflected in the ticket program for 2016.

In November this year, the organisers of the event will announce the details of the new ticket program and in December they will launch ticket sales for the third Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix.
